Welcome to Rektor Headquarters in Oslo, Norway, where soothing vocals, interstellar synth sweeps, catchy refrains and aggressive guitars are blended. Rektor has carefully grown its own soundscape, situated somewhere between house, electropop and rock. An enchanting sonic terrain.

The last six months have been spent in collaboration with producer Jan-Tore Diesen, also known as Igor from the norwegian act Bermuda Triangle. The result of their joint forces is the coming Princess EP.

The Princess tune is a real flirt with the enjoyable c64-aesthetics. Rektor shows its most electronical side ever, supplying your ears with a loving rapper trapped inside an Amiga 500 computer, an ultra crisp pop beat and a synth theme Jean Michel Jarre would have died to use on his Oxygene album.

Rektor is about teamwork. The five guys not only cooperate internally, but team up with cool people every once in a while. Their last collaboration is bound to be a success. The well-known and respected DJ Nils Noa has newly finished a floorfiller remix of “Skies”. Check it out at the downloads section!

Rektor are:
Dr. Fill - Drums

1.DR FILL
Being both a funky drummer and a legendary ambulance driver, Dr. Fill always knows the fastest way to Groove Hospital. Easily the hardest-hitting drummer in modern medical industry.

2.DEEP LOVE
Feel the hertz. Deep Love is by far the most athletic bass player in Scandinavia. He is also the first bass player ever to connect his Yamaha bass to the internet via TCP/IP protocol.

3.DON JOHNSON
Neon-green guitar, black curls and a devastating attitude. Raised in the far western part of Norway, Don Johnson has come a long way, literally speaking.
Don is sponsored by Norwegian Hair Council (NHC).

4.MAGNUM
Revolver-like arpeggios and tender modulation touches- Magnum is a straight cold player from the inner woods of Telemark, Norway. As a former target man in Kviteseid IL, he knows how to score. That sure comes in handy when arranging our songs.

5.JFK
Presidential energy and forceful laptop diplomacy on stage, but it wasn´t always that way. Being the oldest son of a big ranch owner in the deep south, JFK soon had to choose- cattle or audio samples. He chose the music, but promised his father to sample the fields back home and use it in a record some day.
